If you came for an overnight stay Guist Creek Marina Campground is a good site to camp, and a brilliant close by hotel is Capital Plaza Hotel. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Benson Creek, and if you need a location to stay Lexington-Days Inn Frankfort is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Frankfort come to Cedarmore Lake, and why not camp at Kentucky River Camp       Grounds since you're here at Cedarmore Lake. A cool spot to visit in the vicinity of Cedarmore Lake is Beaver Dam Bend; why not take a little visit to Backbone Creek while you're here. High temperatures at Cedarmore Lake through the warm months are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's.
