Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are really bountiful here at Cedarmore Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Lexington-Days Inn Frankfort, and camping at Kentucky River Camp Grounds is always a wonderful experience. Summertime highs at Cedarmore Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime       lows in the 20's for Cedarmore Lake. Cedarmore Lake is a wet spot that gets much rainfall; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. A quick trip to Backbone Creek near Cedarmore Lake is a good idea, and if you want to check out some out of the ordinary stuff, check out Beaver Dam Bend. Camping is available at Guist Creek Marina Campground. Lakes are great; Hickory Hill Lake                  is a lake that's in close proximity to Cedarmore Lake. Cedarmore Lake is not far at all from Frankfort, and whitewater paddling is great on Benson Creek.
