If you like lakes and you're in this part of Kentucky you can check out Cave Run Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Cave Run Lake that you need to camp here for a while, The Outpost Campground is a glorious place for that, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Shellow Flats Wildlife Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Cave Run Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures all

| | through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Cave Run Lake.
So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, too tremendous to be true. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cave Run Lake has to offer, you can camp at Buckskin Run Camper Park, and you're sure to stumble upon some wonderful folks from Mount Sterling here. Plateau Mountains. All year is a splendid time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Near Cave Run Lake you locate a golf course called Eagle Trace Golf Course, and you'll hit upon a gorgeous lake called
Spring Grove Lakes.
Lots of rain falls at Cave Run Lake; most of the rain falls through May while January is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. One of the dominant characteristics of the surroundings of Cave
Run Lake is Dane Greer Hill, and you can run the rapids of Red River. Cave Run Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Cave Run Lake is right next door to Hog Hollow which is positively worth visiting,
and there's some flowing water close by, Carey Branch is a stream you can stop by during your stay.
Hiking along the Buckskin Trail is brilliant fun, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Dry warm beds
await you at Quality Inn Morehead, and going for a hike along the Hog Pen Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
