The Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Cannon Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Callebs Creek, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Wilderness Trail Inn is a perfect choice.       If only every location had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great globe it would be. If you came to camp Clay County Campground is a good place to do that, and Best Western Of Manchester is a fine spot to get some rest. Cannon Lake is not the only site nearby, Swan Pond is a nearby lake, and while you're here, you might as well go to Barley Hollow. All year is a fine time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains if you love the outdoors. During the                  months of summer highs here at Cannon Lake reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Cannon Lake. On a pretty day you get a panorama of Big Rock from Cannon Lake, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Middlesborough for sure. So many exciting things to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, too nice to be true.
