Boom Hole is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Boom Hole is great enough to spend more than a day at, Tim Horton Camp Kentahten is a great local campground, and Cox Bend is an exciting location to take a look at while at Boom Hole. Boom Hole is not far at all from Campbellsville. Some of the water nearby flows, like Little Meadow Creek; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Campbellsville. A fine site to camp here at Boom Hole is Cambellsville/Green

| | River Lake KOA, and Holiday Inn Express Campbellsville is a great site to get some rest. High temperatures at Boom Hole throughout the long summer days are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Boom Hole. Boom Hole regularly gets a great deal of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest.
