After a long day outdoors Ramada Limited Catlettsburg is a delightful site to spend a night or two, and camping at Bonita Lake is tremendous fun, Jones Campground is a tremendous local campground. Bonita Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and October is the month with the least moisture. Bonita Lake is not far at all from Huntington-Ashland,       and an afternoon playing golf at Diamond Links Golf Club is always a delight. Eads Hollow is a great location to visit close by, and some close by water includes Johnson Fork. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Bonita Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Bonita Lake.
