A brilliant nearby hotel is Ashland Knights Inn, and Jones Campground is a perfect local campground. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ASHLAND is a great place to spend a night or two, and a lake close by is Mary Carol Lake. Bonita Lake gets a normal amount of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and October is when it's the driest. If you want a little       side visit, try Eads Hollow, and Johnson Fork is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in close proximity to Bonita Lake. Here at Bonita Lake there are plenty of folks from Huntington-Ashland, and Wildwood Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by.
