All the water falling down from the sky makes Bolz Lake a wet place; the wettest month of the year is typically March, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. If you need a place to stay Hampton Inn is a fine choice; Banklick Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. At Bolz Lake all through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight       hours it's generally in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bolz Lake. During your trip to Bolz Lake you'll meet some folks from Cincinnati-Middletown for sure. A splendid place to camp here at Bolz Lake is Crittenden Koa Kampground; if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gunpowder Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
