Marcum Lake is a lake in close proximity, and a wonderful place for whitewater paddling is Salt River. Bills Lake is a quite wet place mostly with lots of rain; all through July this area sees the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Louisville South is a magnificent site to spend       a night or two, and a pleasant location to camp here at Bills Lake is Gospel Campground. You can run the rapids of Floyds Fork in close proximity to Bills Lake, and Bills Lake is a place with many visitors from Louisville. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area near Bills Lake has to offer. Nearby lakes? Sure, Froman Lake is close to Bills Lake, and next to Bills Lake you locate a golf course called Crossings Golf Club.                  A pleasant close by hotel is Super 8 Shepherdsville, and why not camp at Grandma's Rv Park since you're here at Bills Lake.
