The high level of precipitation makes Bills Lake a relatively wet place; all through July this area sees the most rain while October is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - SHEPHERDSVILLE is a nice spot to spend a night or two; Grandma's Rv Park is a glorious local campground. Bills Lake is not the only place nearby,       Froman Lake is a nearby lake, and an afternoon playing golf at Crossings Golf Club is always a diversion. So much entertaining stuff close to Bills Lake, definitely phenomenal. If you're going to Bills Lake from Louisville, you won't be the only one, and the top of Cahill Knob is easily seen from Bills Lake.
