There's so much to do here at Bayles Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Bud's Lake 81 is a wonderful place for that, and Bayles Pond is not the only site close by, Deep Pond is a close by lake. For the duration of the long summer days at Bayles Pond temperatures are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Bayles Pond night low       temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. Bayles Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is October. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Campbellsville is a great place to spend a night or two. Bayles Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Horse Cave Koa Kampground is a wonderful local campground, and the peak of Akin Knob can be seen from Bayles Pond. This lake is                  so wonderful.
