You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy       all the exciting stuff at Bartleys Lake. Rocky Face is clearly visible from Bartleys Lake, and if you came to camp Pine Mountain State Park is a splendid place to do that. This location, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. After a long day outdoors Pine Mountain State Resort is a great spot to spend a night or two, and at Bartleys Lake you always meet someone from Middlesborough. During the summer months, highs ordinarily                  are in the 80's at Bartleys Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Bartleys Lake. The Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Go for a hike on the Ridge Trail, and Cannon Creek is right next door to Bartleys Lake and is always a diversion to stop by. Bartleys Lake ordinarily gets a good deal of rainfall; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So much cool stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, not sufficient time.
