While you're here at Barnett Lake you can take a hike along the River to River Trail. Lakes are magnificent; Mud Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Barnett Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Lusk Creek; it's a splendid idea to go to Big Creek. If only every place had this much outdoors       cool things, what a great world it would be. If the weather is magnificent here at Barnett Lake, you can go for a hike along the Shore to Shore Horse Trail, and why not camp at Thirty Four Ranch Campground if you're here at Barnett Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Barnett Lake a wet spot; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most; January is when it's the driest. For the duration of the long summer                  days at Barnett Lake highs are generally in the 90's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Barnett Lake descend into the 20's.
