During the winter the highs are usually in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Whiskey Lake are in the 10's. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll like Whiskey Lake. From a rain point of view Whiskey Lake is a quite common spot; June is when you get the most rain here, and January on the other hand is the driest.
