     If you need a site to stay Super 8 Gardner is a great choice; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Kansas River. An average amount of rain falls at Roberts Lake; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Roberts Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at  
   Roberts Lake during the winter commonly descend into the 10's. Lakes are such serene spots, why not pop by Gardner Lake in close proximity to Roberts Lake.
And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do near Roberts Lake. Stay the night at Lawerence Koa Kampground, and you don’t have to go far from Roberts Lake to spot the water at Roberts Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 De Soto is a perfect spot to spend a night
 
               or two, and at Roberts Lake you can catch a sight of Observation Bluff. Roberts Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Cottonwood Camping is a wonderful place to camp nearby, and there are plenty of folks from Lawrence here.
A striking lake like Santa Fe Lake near Roberts Lake is a fine spot to explore; in the neighborhood of Roberts Lake you come across a golf course called Oak Country Golf Course.

Olathe Lake is a beautiful 172 acre lake located in Olathe Kansas. Boating (restricted to 5mph) no personal watercraft ( jetskis) Sailing small boats is excellent. One drawback is no dock near remp which will be rectified soon....
