Thousand Adventures Sycamore is a fine campground nearby; you're sure to stumble upon some cheerful people from Atchison here. An average amount of precipitation falls at Mission Lake; June is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Country Squire Motel and RV Park is a glorious local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Red       Roof Inn Holton. Mission Lake Dam has nice water scenery and it's near Mission Lake, and Super 8 Motel - Holton is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Any time is a good time at Mission Lake if you adore the outdoors. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Mission Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during                  the winter temperatures at Mission Lake descend into the 10's.
