Tomahawk Hills Public Golf Course is a magnificent golf course nearby, and as expected, this is a glorious neighborhood for people who like lakes, Quivira Lake is a lake around here.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Lake of the Forest gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake of the Forest that you need to camp here for a while, Walnut Grove RV Park is a fine place for that, and what would winter be without some skiing at Snow Creek.
