Fossil Lake is a nice lake to visit. All through the summer highs here at Fossil Lake get into the 90's, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, regularly in the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Fossil Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at El Privado is always a nice experience. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Russell is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Great Bend. | |
