Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Russell, and Fossil Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, El Privado is a fine place to camp nearby. Fossil Lake gets very little rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Russell KS is a brilliant place to get some rest. Here at Fossil Lake there are plenty of people from Great Bend, and enjoy a round of golf at Golf Course.
