Do check out Happy Hollow Lake in the neighborhood of Big Eight Lake, it's a scenic lake, and Super 8 Atchison is a great place to get some rest. Big Eight Lake is a good site of typical rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Snow Creek is wonderful; if you came to camp Lewis & Clark State Park is a great place to       do that. Little Bean Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and Big Eight Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Oak Lane Campground is a pleasant local campground. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Big Eight Lake reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Big Eight Lake. Whohoo,                  so much cool stuff in one place!
