At Wood Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows at Wood Lake all through the winter usually dip into the 10's. Par Three Golf Course is a perfect golf course close by; since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Columbus. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Wood Lake; through the       month of July you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's so much to do here at Wood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Columbus woods and water Campground is a magnificent location for that, and you can take a little journey to Terrace Lake Dam while you're here at Wood Lake. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Wood Lake has it all. A good close by hotel is Courtyard                  By Marriott Columbus, and Wood Lake is not the only place nearby, Crystal Lake is a nearby lake. A lake nearby is Long Lake. Don't forget to take a splendid little visit to Wolf Creek, and Clifty Creek - Fall Fork is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
