Summertime highs at Whitley Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Whitley Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Lakes? Sure, Parker Lake is nearby. There's so much to do here at Whitley       Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Green Acres Campgrounds is a wonderful spot for that. So much enjoyable stuff right next door to Whitley Lake, simply impressive. There's splendid hiking along the Three Lakes Trail. Whitley Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Martinsville, and Whitley                  Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Bill and James Monroe Festival is a fine local campground.
