Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Not far from Whitewater Lake, you'll locate Elkhorn Lakes which is a beautiful lake; you can go for a hike on the Equisetum Loop Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Egypt Hollow Campground is a great location to camp. Whitewater Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest       month of the year is January. A great nearby hotel is Centerville/Richmond Area, and this is a popular site for folks from Richmond. Camping is available at Heritage Hills, and after a long day outdoors Knights Inn Richmond is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Near Whitewater Lake you stumble on a golf course called Liberty Country Club, and don't leave Whitewater Lake without first going for a hike along the Indian Mound                  Trail. Silver Creek flows through this neighborhood; splendid hiking is available along the Gallion Run Trail. For the duration of the summer months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Whitewater Lake. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Whitewater Lake are in the 10's.
