For you golfers we recommend nearby English Golf Course, and if you came for an overnight stay Horseshoe Bend Marina and Camp is a wonderful location to camp. If you       need a site to stay Louisville-Days Inn Carefree is a good choice, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Bluegill Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Timberlin Lake, you'll come across Walton Lake which is a scenic lake; why not camp at Mane Trails if you're here at Timberlin Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Timberlin Lake a wet place; during the month of May you get the most rain around here                  while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Timberlin Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Timberlin Lake.
