Camping is available at Columbus woods and water Campground, and for you golfers we recommend close by Par Three Golf Course. While you're here at Thompsons Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby       Columbus, and dry warm beds await you at Ramada Inn. If you came for an overnight stay Gassaway's Campground is a pleasant location to camp, and Thompsons Lake is not the only place nearby, Lake Barbara is a nearby lake.
