While you're here at Thompsons Lake, you could also stop by pretty Lake Barbara. Lots of folks from Columbus come to Thompsons Lake; after a long day outdoors Charwood Corporate Suites is a great site to spend a night or two. During the summertime highs here at Thompsons Lake get into the 80's, and all through summer       nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows at Thompsons Lake during the wintertime ordinarily sink into the 10's. Thompsons Lake is a good place of typical rain; July is the month that gets the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Gassaway's Campground is a nice local campground, and Twin Lakes is a nearby lake that you could stop by. That right there is lots already,                  but it goes on; Thompsons Lake has it all. If you're a golfer then a fine nearby course is Par Three Golf Course, and a pleasant close by hotel is Hotel Indigo COLUMBUS ARCHITECTURAL CENTER.
