This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Bloomington come to Thomas Lake. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gulletts Creek. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Thomas Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mount Zion Campground. High temperatures at Thomas Lake during the warm months are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the       60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Thomas Lake. After a long day outdoors Stonehenge Lodge is a nice place to spend a night or two, and White River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do close to Thomas Lake. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by Thomas Lake Dam, and the view of Tunnel Hill is gorgeous.                  If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Bedford is a great choice; do put some time aside to spend at Sexson Spring while you're here at Thomas Lake. Lakes are good; Oberlin Lake is a lake that's near Thomas Lake; for you golfers we recommend nearby Eagle View Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Thomas Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cedar Ridge Camping Resort is a nice place for that, and needless to say, this is a tremendous neighborhood for people who like lakes, Greenwood Lake is a lake in the vicinity.
