Lakes? Sure, Country Squire Lake is close by. Be careful coming to Tanglewood Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Duck Branch flows through this vicinity, and if you came to camp Deer Creek Campground is a good place to do that. From a precipitation point of view Tanglewood Lake is a pretty       typical location; most of the rain falls through July, and the driest month is January. The friendly people of North Vernon like to hang out nearby, and at Van Voorhies Lake Dam close to Tanglewood Lake there are some exciting things to see. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clifty Creek - Fall Fork, and while you're here you can play some golf at Ford's Crossing Golf Course.
