Westward Ho Campgrounds and Gift is a nice local campground, and if you need a place to stay Residence Inn Columbus is a great choice. The annual rainfall here at Silver Hook Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. I just completed three lakes and part of Low Gap Trail and Mason Ridge just this morning and, as always, had a wonderful run. No matter how many times I have run the trails of Morgan Monroe it always is as enjoyable as the first time all those years ago. Try this place for yourself. you'll find that it is a very special 24,000 acres!...Your site indicates that the nearest metro area to Three Lakes Trail in Morgan-Monroe State Forest in Bedford. This is incorrect. The nearest metro area is Bloomington, which is a larger town that Bedford and home to several other nearby trails. You actually have to travel through Bloomington to reach Bedford from the Morgan-Monroe State Forest.
