Playing golf is lots of fun at Colonial Oaks Golf Club; the smiling folks of Fort Wayne like to hang out nearby. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Summertime highs at Shoaff Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Shoaff Lake are in the 10's. Camping at       Shoaff Lake is nice fun, Indian Springs Camp Grounds is a nice local campground; Candlewood Suites FORT WAYNE - NW is a great place to get some rest. If you came for an overnight stay Johnny Appleseed Park is a good place to camp, and Shoaff Lake is not the only place close by, Mirror Lake is a close by lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Shoaff Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls through June, and January is the month                  with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
