Sherburn Lake, Kosciusko County, Indiana     User input for Sherburn Lake, Kosciusko County, Indiana: Mark Dillon: Even though some lakes as Sherburn, Heron, etc. are surrounded by private property the water is still owned by the state and the public should have access to all these waters for fishing hunting etc. some owners feel they have the right to keep you off these lakes and because I pay taxes I feel I should be able to access any lake without the hassel of surrounding owners. I am persuing the laws to these issues. At Sherburn Lake during the summertime highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. All through the winter highs are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Sherburn Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Sherburn Lake you can play some golf at Raccoon Run Golf Course; Pic-a-spot Campground is       a perfect campground here. Larrew Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. The amount of rainfall that falls at Sherburn Lake is close to the national average; June is when you get the most rain here while February is regularly the driest month.
