Throughout the summer months at Scott Pond highs are frequently in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Through the winter the highs are usually in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Scott Pond. Bear Creek flows through this region, and Scott Pond is a fine location to camp, Camp wildwood is a fine location. A fine close by hotel is Hotel       Attica Inn, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Pine Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Scott Pond, checking out Portland Arch is a must, and near Scott Pond you come across a golf course called Harrison Hills Golf & Country Club. From a rain point of view Scott Pond is a pretty common spot; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and                  January is when it's the driest. Summers Camp Grounds is a great campground here, and Big Shawnee Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. So much exciting stuff to do here at Scott Pond, too fine to be true.
