Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Schultz Lake while night lows are commonly in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Schultz Lake are in the 10's. You'll locate a beautiful lake called Schaefer Lake near Schultz Lake, and camping at Gassaway's Campground is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. Hotel Indigo COLUMBUS ARCHITECTURAL CENTER is a wonderful       place to get some rest, and there's some flowing water close by, Fall Fork is a stream you can stop at during your stay. Do pop by Middle Fork Lake close to Schultz Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Clifty Creek - Fall Fork. If you're popping by Schultz Lake from Columbus, you won't be the only one, and a great place to camp here at Schultz Lake is Blue Springs Park. After a long day outdoors Lees Inn Shelbyville is a nice                  location to spend a night or two. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. At Schultz Lake Dam in close proximity to Schultz Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and a golf course nearby is Quarry Ridge Golf Course.
