This lake is so wonderful. Bethal Lake is a splendid lake close to Schact Lake. There's so much to do here at Schact Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wheeler Mission Campground is a good       location for that. So many fun things to do at Schact Lake, so little time. Schacht Lake Dam is charming and it's in the vicinity of Schact Lake, and after a long day outdoors Bloomington-Days Inn is a great location to spend a night or two. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Schact Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight                  lows in the 10's for Schact Lake. You're sure to bump into some fine people from Bedford here, and Schact Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Grove Camp Ground is a magnificent local campground. A nice close by hotel is Bloomington Travelodge; you can run the rapids of Gulletts Creek.
