If you came to camp Broomsage Ranch is a glorious location to do that, and at Rider Lake you always meet someone from Madison. All the outdoors cool stuff next to Rider Lake will keep you coming back persistently. This lake is so wonderful. Rider Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Callis Grove Campground is a tremendous local campground, and Comfort Inn Madison is a great location to get some rest.       A good deal of rain falls at Rider Lake; most of the rain falls during July while February is usually the driest month. Golf can be played at Spring Hills Golf Course, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Kentucky River. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Rider Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's.
