All through the summer highs here at Reed Reservoir reach the 80's, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, typically in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Reed Reservoir descend into the 10's. Lake Santee is a good lake near Reed Reservoir, and if you came to camp Delaware Campground is a glorious site to do that. Lees Inn Greensburg is       a nice location to get some rest, and North Branch Golf Course is a golf course nearby. Be careful coming to Reed Reservoir, you might not ever want to go home again. There are other spots here than Reed Reservoir, for example Lake McCoy, and there are plenty of people from Greensburg here at Reed Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Reed Reservoir is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Mac Lyn Museum is a delightful local campground, and why                  not stop at Reed Dam while you're here. The amount of rainfall that falls at Reed Reservoir is close to the national average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is January. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flatrock River.
