If you need a location to stay Four Seasons Motel is a delightful choice, and not far from Pitcher Lake you'll locate Weirs Lake which is a striking lake. A tremendous close by hotel is Mount Vernon Inn. Lakes are nice; Tweedle Pond is a lake that's right next door to Pitcher Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Little Chain Cutoff is a nice place to have a look at, and camping is available at Burrell Park and Campground. Pitcher Lake is a good spot of normal precipitation;

Big Lake
 | 13 miles away Big lake is a beautiful lake surrounded by lage cypress trees. In the 1940's and 50's it was called Big Lake resot, several cabins and a lage hotel, kept full duing the season. Boat rentals and a bait shop and grocery/cafe were also here. Now there ae just a fe cabins left and the hotel is gone, but the memories are still there.... |
