During the days of summer at Pisgah Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; winter       nights come with lows in the 10's to Pisgah Lake. From a rainfall point of view Pisgah Lake is a relatively common place; most of the rain falls during July while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Pisgah Lake is not the only site close by, Saunders Lake is a close by lake, and there are plenty of people from Columbus here. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Pisgah Lake you can play some golf at Deer Valley Golf Course,                  and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Franklin is a fine choice. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Pisgah Lake. There's so much to do here at Pisgah Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Walnut Grove Campground is a great location for that.
