Renaissance Gallery and Tower is a fine site to get some rest, and Pennington Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Old Mill Run Park is a glorious local campground. After a long day outdoors Knights Inn Clarks Hill IN is a delightful place to spend a night or two; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rattlesnake Creek. Having a nice time at Pennington Lake is       easy. A great location to camp here at Pennington Lake is Broadview Lake; if you're going to from Crawfordsville, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Little Creek; if you come at the right time of year, Sugar Creek offers some splendid whitewater. A common amount of rain falls here at Pennington Lake; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. For the period of                  the summertime at Pennington Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's.
