A nice nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MARTINSVILLE, and the scenery at Paragon Lake Dam is lovely. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Paragon Lake is Wheeler Mission Campground, and Paragon Lake is right by the Three Lakes Trail. During the summer, highs typically are       in the 80's at Paragon Lake. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 30's, and night lows all through the winter for Paragon Lake tend to be in the 10's. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Paragon Lake. After a long day outdoors Vista Inn Bloomington is a good site to spend a night or two, and you're in all probability addicted to lakes, Bryant Creek Lake is one of those                  nearby. Some of the water nearby flows, like Burkhart Creek; there are some great whitewater spots on McCormick's Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Paragon Lake gets lots of water; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is January. Why not camp at 3-point Lake Campgrounds if you're here at Paragon Lake.
