You can run the rapids of Blue River right next door to Palmyra Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Palmyra Lake has to offer, you can camp at Country Aire Lake. During the days of summer at Palmyra Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and after the       sun is down through the winter temperatures at Palmyra Lake dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Little Indian Creek for all you adrenaline kick people, and Baymont Inn Corydon is a good site to get some rest. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motels - Corydon is a great choice. For you golfers we recommend nearby Hoosier Hills Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Palmyra Lake that you need to camp here for a while,                  Delaney Park is a tremendous place for that.
