a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Sugar Ridge Golf Club. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Old Channel Lake.
If you get bored of Old Channel Lake, you could also visit nearby Twin Lakes, and if you come
at the right time of year, Great Miami River offers some great whitewater. The amount of rainfall that falls at Old Channel Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while
January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Gunpowder Creek, and Old Channel Lake is a location with many visitors from Cincinnati-Middletown.
A great site to camp here at Old Channel Lake is Hickory Lake Campground; the summit of College Hill can be distinguished from Old Channel Lake. Don't leave Old Channel Lake without first going for a hike along the Little Turtle Trail, and Holiday Inn Express Lawrenceburg-Cincinnati, In is a nice spot to get some rest.
