South Branch Mud Creek is a perfect local stream, and Mount Zion Millpond is a nearby lake that you could visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pipe Creek, and camping is available at Lakeview Campground. Camping at Mississinewa Campground is always a perfect experience, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Rochester is a glorious choice.       For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 80's at Nyona Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are regularly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Nyona Lake dip into the 10's.
