A round of golf at nearby Glendarin Hills Golf Club is a glorious way to kill some time. This lake       is so wonderful. Cook's Happy Acres Campground is a good local campground, and don't forget to go to Point Comfort since you're here. Summertime highs at Mud Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Mud Lake all through the winter frequently drop into the 10's.
