A wonderful close by hotel is Wonder Inn, and Eel River Campground is a glorious campground here. At Mud Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Mud Lake descend into the 10's. After a long       day outdoors Best Western Kendallville Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Kendallville for sure.
