Morgan Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. A charming lake like Billington Lake right next door to Morgan Lake is a perfect place to visit, and a visit to Indiana Dunes       National Lakeshore is recommended. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. After a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - Chesterton Indiana Dunes Area is a wonderful location to spend a night or two, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Indian Oak is a great choice. You'll discover a picturesque lake called Chubb Lake near Morgan Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Morgan Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mink Lake. Coffee                  Creek is right next door to Morgan Lake and is always a bliss to explore, and if you're a golfer then a splendid close by course is Mink Lake Golf Course. At Morgan Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's.
