The fishing was great and the lake very clean. We camped with 5 families and had a wonderful time. Our family is looking forward to next year's vacation. We caught a 16 Bass and the park even took a picture of it for us. Very friendly atmosphere. Candy Stripe Camp Site is a nice local campground, and a quick trip to Crisman Ditch is without doubt a perfect       idea. What a site this is for outdoors folks. For the duration of the days of summer at Lake Minnehaha temperatures are generally in the 80's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, generally in the 60's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lake Minnehaha dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Portage, In is a wonderful site                  to spend a night or two, and if you're looking for a nice tour, Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore is relatively near.
