Fisherman Cove Resort is a great place to get some rest, and do have a look at Baugher Lake, it's a beautiful lake. From a rainfall point of view Metz Lake is a relatively typical place; most of the rain falls throughout August, and January on the other hand is the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Metz Lake. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. All through the wintertime       this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Metz Lake fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Metz Lake is nice fun, Forest Ridge Park is a nice local campground, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Kendallville for sure. For you golfers we recommend close by Crooked Lake Golf Course; if you need a site to stay Kimmell Inn is a glorious choice. Take a little journey to Piper                  Branch if you're here at Metz Lake, and why not camp at Pioneer Trails Camp if you're here at Metz Lake.
