This lake is so wonderful. If you're popping by Lake Marion from Marion, you won't be the only one, and there are some great whitewater spots on Wabash River. Camping at Sports Lake Camping Resort is always a magnificent experience, and not far from Lake Marion you get some glorious water scenery at Lincoln Country Club Lake Dam. This is no location for people who don’t like                  to have a good time. Best Western Gas City is a tremendous place to get some rest. An average amount of precipitation falls at Lake Marion; through July this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
