Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Marion, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Lake Marion. A splendid nearby hotel is Best Western Gas City, and there's some interesting stuff to see at Lincoln Country Club Lake Dam near Lake Marion. Lake Marion gets a common amount of yearly precipitation;       the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. There's so much to do here at Lake Marion that you need to camp here for a while, Green Acres Campgrounds is a great location for that; Wabash River is a perfect whitewater spot close by. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Gas City is a fine location to spend a night or two, and lots of people from Marion come here. This lake is so wonderful.                  A lake nearby is Lincoln Country Club Lake, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rock Creek. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site.
