Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Lake Manitou temperatures plunge to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are great; Mount Zion Millpond is a lake that's near Lake Manitou,       and after a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - ROCHESTER is a good place to spend a night or two. From a rainfall point of view Lake Manitou is a rather common location; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
