From a rainfall point of view Lower Story Lake is a reasonably typical spot; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while January is mostly the       driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Kendallville Inn, and a lake close by is Upper Story Lake. Story Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; you can stay the night at Circle B Campground.
