Long Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls during May, and January is when it's the driest. Lakes are such calm places, why not stop by Nicewander Lake in close proximity to Long Lake, and Long Lake is right by the Three Lakes Trail. There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Nashville Koa Kampground       is a tremendous spot for that; after a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Indianapolis Airport South is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Long Lake during the days of summer are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Long Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Long Lake.
