After a long day outdoors Kimmell Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two, and Little Smalley Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Forest Ridge Park is a good local campground. Not far from Little Smalley Lake, you'll stumble on Beers Lake which is a pretty lake. There's so much to do here at Little Smalley Lake that you need to camp       here for a while, Pioneer Trails Camp is a good place for that. For the period of the summertime here at Little Smalley Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Little Smalley Lake. Little Smalley Lake is a good spot of normal rain; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest                  month is January. An afternoon playing golf at Crooked Lake Golf Course is always a diversion.
