The nice folks of Greensburg like to hang out nearby; Lake Santee is great enough to spend more than a day at, Mac Lyn Museum is a great local campground. The scenery at Lake Santee Dam near Lake Santee is striking,       and camping at Delaware Campground is always a nice experience. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Batesville is a great place to spend a night or two, and Sand Creek - Cobbs Fork is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. The annual rain here at Lake Santee is about average; July is the wettest month with most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
