Rising Sun Campground is a good local campground. Lakes? Sure, Lost Lake is around here. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do in the neighborhood of Lake Maxinkuckee. At Lake Maxinkuckee you always meet someone from Plymouth; a golf course nearby is Mystic Hills

Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake Maxinkuckee. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Beaver Ridge Campground
 | 19 miles away ... 15 to October 15, Beaver Ridge Family Camping is located within 20 minutes of Notre Dame University and South Bend. Potato Creek State Park is just a 5 minute drive. The campground offers sites with water and electric hook-up or, if you're a tenter, spacious, secluded primitive sites are available.
A small campground store stocks candy and snacks, ice cream, campfire wood and those ''oops, I forgot to pack'' things!
An in-ground pool is open from Memorial Weekend until Labor Day Weekend. For the youngsters, we have a playground, basketball court and a grass volleyball court. Or just relax around your campfire, roast a few marshmallows and enjoy a quiet star-filled night.
